Crying Infant Relationship:
Crying of the child is simple language of the child, which can mean 'One for All'. The situation is that the child does not know any thing else and the learned adults have forgotten, why they used to cry. This is a mismatch of the language database, but possible reason of the cry can be guessed and child stops crying when the parent has passed in test of crying.
The child in womb was living in an highly automated world, was getting the nutrition 24 hours a day, without a break, excretory products were taken care of also in a perfectly neat manner. On reaching the world all the automated privileges are withdrawn and for first breath also he has to cry. This is beginning of the hypothetical CRY. He has learned that he to cry for all things.
Cry can also interpreted as physiological action of life. Llike other automated functions in life. A normal kid's cry is a means of communication with parent, because he has yet to learn vocabulary and practice. If he feels he is uncomfortable he cries. The simple cry of the kid can put parent in action mode looks for and feels the reason of uncomfortable reaction of kid and taking care of the infant's need makes infant stop crying.
In normal situations kids cry when hungry, if there is a wetting, the place feels hot or cold,
Replacing tight of clothes with comfortable clothes, painful feeling etc. At times infant needs someone's presence, otherwise a cry.
Crying which often is a habit of few infants. It seems there is nothing abnormal in crying of the infant. Not understanding parent get worried and sometimes over react.
What to do:
The child needs similar environment what he was gettin in mother's womb related to
1. Meeting Nutritional as well as hydration needs round the clock.
2. In mothers womb infant was bathed in Amniotic Fluid, now duty of the mother is to bathe and keep infant clean
and dry.
3. Change the clothes as the need be.
4. Keep it' body covered with blanket during winter and with net during summers as a protection from insects and
good aeration.
5. Protect from diseases which are rampant in infants and children.
6. Fixing a date with pediatrician on a regular basis for checking health of the infant and planning vaccinations
required in the first 1 to 2 years.
If above suggested do's are followed in a disciplineed manner life the infant and the mother shall be very easy, following things are worth considering when helping crying infant:
Crying for Needing Care:
The Child be attended immediately and look for possible clues and satisfy them.
Mother's Response to Child Cries:
Mother by her attachment to the infant runs to the infant and asks the infant as if he is understanding and views the need of the cry and does not leave till the child is satisfied.
Frequent Reasons of Crying:
Longing for food: One of the basic reasons of crying seems associated with longing felt by the infant for food. Offering breast nipple he starts sucking and again goes to sleep after satisfaction of hunger.
Cleaning Call: In case infant has defecated or urinated, he feels wet and calls for some one to clean him and change Nappy.
Missing Company:
As the infant grows he starts recognizing people who react with him by whistling, clapping and other gestures. He gazes around and finding no one around starts crying seeking some one's company.
Missing a Toy:
The child clasps and plays with doll, while playing doll fallsl down and he cries for help of some one to fetch the doll.
The Tiresome State:
The infant lying all day gets tired up and wants some one to pick up and move about in room or outside. He cries so that some one notices and comes and satisfies his wish. After strolling for some the child feels comfort and goes to sleep.
While in a journey with parent child gets tired and cries. He needs some one to massage him.
Hot or Cold Weather:
The hotness or coldness of weather is causing uncomfortable condition foro the child. The child cries for calling some one to provide relief by turning on fan or providing him a blanket cover.
Tightness of Clothes Worn:
Wearing of tight clothes during summer season causes discomfort leading to crying. Tightness of the elastic material attached to the clothes causes a sore of hip area and baby cries. Clothes selection requires to be of right size of the child.
Darkness of Room:
The darkness of room can frighten baby on waking up after sleep and likes to see a dim light. Therefore he cries for some on to switch on light. Normally the infants' room has a night lamp, lit all the night.
Mosquito Bites:
Mosquitoes present are disturbing and annoying factor and can be harmful to baby. Mosquito stings make baby to call for help with cry. The baby's cot be provided a mosquito net.
Nose Blockage:
A blocked nose during cold weather makes the child difficult to breathe a hindrance in sleep making the child to cry. Cleaning nose makes the child comfortable and child stops crying.
Phlegm in Throat:
It a causes difficulyt in breathing producing an alarming sound with each breath resulting in crying for a help.
General Aches:
Body aches produce restlessness in conditions like flu and early stages resulting in infectious disease can be a source of continuous crying.
Habitual Crying:
Few children cry with no real evident cause making the parents fed up with agony. Some times a doctor is called even he also proves helpless for a possible clue.
Nappy Rashes:
A tight or wet nappy worn for a prolonged period causes irritating rashes inducing crying. replace them with comfortable dry nappies by washing and drying affected area. A Rash can befrom allergy from elastic or nappy cloth material. When rash or a sore appears making baby cry because of irritation during sleep. All skin affections like eczema, reddening of skin, a fungal infection etc. cause similar problems. An antiseptic cream be applied as advised by the doctor and any elastic causing irritation needs proper replacement.
A Sickness of Seasonal fever:
If suspicion is that infant is crying because of sickness a consultation with doctor is advised to assess the disease and initiate treatment.
